Samsung mobile phone | Samsung Galaxy S7 - Fastest phone you can buy today

Mobile Phone

Mobile Phone | At March 2016 Samsung has launched a new flagship phone for 2016. It's available in two different versions: Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge

Also there are two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7 exist: one comes with the Snapdragon 820 processor quad-core chip in model SM-G930 (US model). but the model that exist in the UK (And majority of the world, including Europe) runs Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 chip, which is a 64-bit octa-core chip with four cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four at 1.6GHz. It’s paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and features the ARM Mali-T880 MP12 GPU.

Opinions differed about the Galaxy S7, but the best Opinion: it's a combination of the features the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6

key changes
Of the key changes in the Galaxy S7 over the Galaxy S6 is The SIM tray has moved from the Galaxy S6’s right edge to the top of the Galaxy S7, and there’s a good reason for the relocation: there’s more space up here, and Samsung has extended the tray to include a microSD slot. And that is probably one of the most exciting changes for Samsung Galaxy S-series fans - Samsung took heavy criticism for removing expandable storage from its Galaxy S6

And the other big change in the Galaxy S7 is carries IP68 certification, which means it is resistant to dust and water, and can survive a 1.5m dunk for up to 30 minutes. Pleasingly, Samsung has been able to achieve this by surrounding the inside of the Galaxy S7’s ports and connections with rubber and applying an anti-corrosive coating to the metalwork, which means it hasn’t needed to revert to the nasty port cover flaps we saw in the Galaxy S5.

Another change of the key changes in the Galaxy S7 over the Galaxy S6 is that Samsung has replaced the 16Mp camera with a 12Mp model with LED flash.
The Samsung says this new ‘Dual Pixel’ camera has a faster autofocus, an f/1.7 aperture and larger 1.4um pixels, allowing it to take in 95 percent more light for improved low-light photography. It can also shoot 4K UHD (3840x2160), slow-motion and time-lapse video.

Galaxy S7
Samsung's Galaxy S7 is a serious contender for best phone of 2016. Samsung has taken into account what its fans want, addressing the three main areas of concern: removable storage, waterproofing and battery life. It’s also upgraded the core hardware and photography gear, added an always-on display and some useful software. Right now the Galaxy S7 is simply unbeatable. says pcadvisor

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is it good enough to oust the superb Nexus 6P? Not quite, and that’s entirely due to the price.

Although the Nexus 6P isn’t quite as good as the S7, it’s much better value for money, and for me that tips the balance – just – in its favour.

Certainly, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is a better phone than the S6 – its camera and performance are both better; in some respects battery life is superior; and the return of storage expansion and disaster-proofing is a massive bonus.

Galaxy S7 For those who want the best, however, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is undoubtedly the phone to buy for now. It’s fast, sleek, beautiful and capable. It's a wonderful handset you’ll love to own. says alphr

Samsung's Galaxy S7 is a worthy recipient of a five-star  review. That's no easy feat – only a handful of phones have ever hit the top mark – but the Galaxy S7 has earned its place in our hall of fame.

The differences between the two variants (global vs North America) may frustrate mentally, but you won't see any differences day to day, so don't fret.

For those considering trading in their Galaxy S6 (or other 2015 flagship), the case isn't quite as strong. The S6 still has a great screen, dazzling camera and plenty of power, so the step up may not feel big enough.

Still, the Galaxy S7 improves on pretty much every aspect of the S6, making it the best phone in the world right now, alongside the larger Galaxy S7 Edge. If money isn't an issue, the Galaxy S7 will justify the outlay – but the more cash-conscious may want to hold out for the Galaxy S8. says techradar

HTC mobile phone | HTC 10 - A very user-friendly interface into a mix of big design and strong camera

Mobile Phone

Mobile Phone | The new HTC 10 has a 5.2in Super LCD screen. That's slightly bigger than the One M9 - although the phone isn't really any bigger due to a better screen-to-body ratio - and sits between the S7 and G5 in size.

The HTC 10 has a resolution Quad HD (1440x2560), too it's has a pixel density of 565ppi.

Matching the LG G5, which has slick performance, the HTC 10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which is a popular choice for 2016 already. This is backed up with a healthy 4GB of RAM and we've not noticed any problems since getting a review sample.

The HTC 10 is not waterproof so it's bad news if that's a design upgrade you we're hoping for. It's a shame but it appears HTC has focused on improving other areas such as the camera and audio instead. If you really want or need waterproofing, then look to the Samsung Galaxy S7 or Sony Xperia Z5.

The HTC 10 is available in a range of colours: Carbon Grey, Topaz Gold, Glacier Silver and Camellia Red

HTC 10
With the new HTC 10 there's a lot to like  including a number of hardware upgrades across screen, audio and camera, plus a Nexus-like stock Android experience. However, we're not totally sold on the design and it's tough at the top these days. While the HTC 10 is a solidly good phone and a respectible upgrade for M9 owners, it doesn't blow the competition out of the water. The features which appeal the most are more niche than mass market. sayd pcadvisor

HTC 10
The HTC 10 is a phone that promised so much but only partly delivers. As you can see above, I can't really criticise it too much as it's hit the marks that a top smartphone should: loads of power, upgraded battery, improved camera and changed design.

The One M8 had the same impressive ability to be fondled, but it combined it with better sound output and innovative pictures - it was one of the best phones ever made.

The HTC 10 doesn't do anything wrong, and if you bought it you'd want for very little throughout your time with it, as it's very capable indeed and has all the excellent design DNA slathered through from HTC.

Ultimately, HTC 10 is a phone that's technically very able but doesn't offer a massive wow factor - and for the high-end price it commands, it really should. sayd techradar

Motorola Moto G 2015
This is the Moto G for 2015 and Motorola is under more pressure for the best budget phone with fresh competition from the likes of the EE Harrier Mini and Vodafone Smart Ultra 6. Here are our first impressions of the new Moto G.

With various upgrades including a waterproof design, great cameras and stock Android, the new Moto G 2015 is a great affordable phone. The device is still a bit chunky and it's a shame to see the stereo speakers gone. It's worth opting for the model with 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. Now with a price cut to £149, the Moto G 3rd-gen is the best budget phone you can buy. sayd pcadvisor

Mobile Phone | Picks from the critics:

Samsung Galaxy S6
The Galaxy S6 is one of the best Android phone at 2015. It's fast, it's well built, it has a gorgeous screen and the software isn't overly intrusive. The fingerprint scanner is vastly improved, the heart-rate scanner a potential draw for some users, and the wireless- and fast charging welcome inclusions, and it's a shame we've lost the removable battery, waterproofing and microSD support, but these are all things we can live with. says pcadvisor

Although the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge catches the eye with its unusual looks, slightly more affordable S6 that most consumers will opt for. And why not? The design is simply superb. The build is excellent. It's fast, slick, and its camera captures great pictures and superlative video.

You could criticise it for lacking a microSD slot and removable battery, and we're sure those omissions will put plenty of people off. But in every other respect, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is a superlative smartphone, and significantly better than the HTC One M9. If only the best will do, look no further. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is the best smartphone on the market. says alphr

Samsung Galaxy S6
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a perfect blend of design and extreme power.

The only worries I had back then were the battery life and price, and sadly these are the big reasons why it can't get a perfect score. You'll be able to get around them if you really want the phone (kidneys can still be sold, right?) but for a flagship phone I expected better, especially in terms of battery life.

Nobody has convinced me that we need QHD screens yet, and it seems that could be one of the real problems with the S6 and it running out of power so easily.

But don't let the above take away from the utterly brilliant bits of this phone: the camera is SUPERB, the build quality excellent and the speed under the finger second to none at times.

Samsung Galaxy S6 is the best Android phone on the market at 2015, and well worth thinking about if you're after a really cutting edge device (and can afford it). says techradar

Mobile Phone

Mobile Phone | OnePlus company has made a name for itself by offering phones as far lower prices than you would expect if you looked at the spec sheet and images of the device itself. The theme continues with the OnePlus X, which is actually the firm’s cheapest smartphone to date.

Update June 2016: Speaking at the OnePlus 3 launch event, OnePlus has confirmed that there will not be a successor to the OnePlus X, and that it will focus on a single smartphone product line in future. That would also seemingly rule out the possibility of a OnePlus 2 mini.

The OnePlus X as a mini version of the OnePlus 2, it's good level of design and build, Software is a strong point and you get a gorgeous screen.

OnePlus X
Software for this phone is a strong point and you get a gorgeous screen. The OnePlus X was the best value smartphone of 2015. We love the premium design in a smaller form factor to the firm’s other phones.  However, cuts had to be made somewhere and the X is lacking features such as NFC, 11ac and Wi-Fi. It also is missing the fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port found on the OnePlus 2. Battery life isn’t great and cameras aren’t best in class but this is a great phone for the price. says pcadvisor

OnePlus X
Although it was not the fastest phone in the world, nor is it the best in any category, but OnePlus X is a good all-rounder. I’d quibble if it were £300 – in fact, I’d tell people to buy a Nexus 5X instead if it cost that much – but, at this price, I’m inclined to give it a pretty easy ride. In fact, the only stern challenge comes from its own stablemate.

The OnePlus X may not be perfect, then, but now the barrier to entry has been removed and you can actually buy one, I can recommend it wholeheartedly. If you're in the market for a low-cost phone that, unlike most, doesn't compromise on looks, you're in luck - it's a gem of a smartphone. says alphr

OnePlus X
Producing a phone of this quality, for this price, is quite an achievement by OnePlus.

It's a shame, though, that OnePlus opted for an older processor in the Snapdragon 801, as it does cause some problems. Other issues, such as the lack of NFC, are annoying, though hardly troubling – but it's hard to recommend the OnePlus X to those who want a phone capable of high-intensity tasks.

But if you're already a fan of the OnePlus brand, you'll know how well the company has done in producing cheap handsets that boast high-end specs. Both flagship OnePlus products have impressed, and targeting users who are even more budget-conscious is a smart move. says techradar

Motorola Moto X Play

The Moto X Play is a decent mid-range phone. But, it's not the great upgrade which Moto X owners were looking for. The screen is good, as is the camera, but performance could be better - as could battery life. Had Motorola offered the dual-SIM version in the UK and made the phone waterproof, it would have had enough to be a decent alternative to the OnePlus 2. For many, this more powerful rival will be more appealing. It's also cheaper and has optical stabilisation and the option to shoot 4K video. It's really not a bad deal at all. says pcadvisor

Motorola Moto X Play The Moto X Play is oddly not as waterproof as the cheaper Motorola Moto G (2015), the camera doesn’t perform well in low light, and performance is middling. It’s doesn’t excel in everything

Ultimately, a reasonable price and great battery life give it an edge against other phones in the increasingly crowded mid-range smartphone market. Squeezed between the Moto G and the Moto X Style, the Moto X Play is a more-than-decent mid-range smartphone; if you can’t get an invite for the OnePlus 2, it’s an excellent alternative. says alphr
