Google mobile phone | Nexus 5X - Fast enough for most people

22:29

Mobile Phone | The Google Nexus 5X is one of the first to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and one of two new Google phones, the Nexus 5X is the smaller brother to the Nexus 6P, It has quite a few upgrades compared to the Nexus 5

It has a great screen and 12.3MP camera, it's able to capture quality low-light photos.

It's not quite as fast as any of these phones when under pressure, but in real terms it’ll be fast enough for most people.

Mobile Phone | Picks from the critics:

Nexus 5X
The Google Nexus 5X is a fantastic phone overall, with excellent cameras, a good turn of speed and an excellent screen. But it's noticeably bigger than its predecessor despite the small increase in screen size, it has limited storage compared to the Nexus 6P and it lacks a couple of camera features due to the slower processor. The absence of wireless charging is another blow for some, but additions such as the fingerprint scanner will make it a great upgrade for others. says pcadvisor

Nexus 5X
The camera is fantastic, the performance is fast and it doesn’t overheat and throttle. The software is also clean and simple, and Google and LG have squeezed in most of the components a modern smartphone needs, the one exception being that microSD slot.

In short, unless you’re the shallow type with more money to throw around than I have, I’d advise you consider the Nexus 5X as a serious option for your next smartphone. It’s no beauty, but the reasonable cost and all-round competence is a massive plus. says alphr

Nexus 5X
The Google Nexus 5X is still inexpensive, and the fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. I found relief switching back to this smaller, lighter and substantially cheaper phone. Your pocket is going to appreciate it in more ways than one.

Google modernized the its normal-sized flagship for modern times with a slightly larger display, a faster processor and reversible USB charging method.

No, The Nexus 5X isn't the best phone you can get - it's not even in the top 10. It's not even the best Nexus anymore due to the Nexus 6P being the bigger and faster of the two. It's more like the the perfect fit for one hand and the closest thing to a five-finger discount given the specs. says techradar
