Samsung mobile phone - Galaxy A5 2016

Mobile Phone | The Galaxy A5 2015 It was comes (unfortunately) with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core chip, but Samsung has corrected that mistake with the 1.6GHz Exynos 7580, an octa-core chip based on the Cortex-A53, paired with 2GB of RAM. MicroSD support has also been expanded from 64- to 128GB, although you’ll still find just 16GB of internal storage.

Samsung has retained the 13-megapixel camera from last year.  But the battery has got bigger: it has a capacity of 2,900mAh, whereas last year's was 2,300mAh in size.

The new Galaxy A5 is more responsive, and overall performance is greatly improved.

Mobile Phone | Picks from the critics:

Galaxy A5

The Galaxy A5 2016 is now resembles last year’s flagship Galaxy S6, after an enormous improvement over the Galaxy A5 2015. Unfortunately, it’s not quite as fast or feature-packed as that phone, making its now-£50 price difference seem insane. If you can afford the Galaxy S6 we’d recommend it over the A5, but if not you won’t be disappointed with this excellent mid-range Android phone. says pcadvisor

Galaxy A5 Galaxy A5 At 2015 the Galaxy A5 found itself lost in the shuffle  because its price was awkwardly positioned between better-value, lower-end phones and faster mid-range phones.

This year, with its price bump and processor boost, it may be able to shake that off, but much depends on its competition. says alphr
