Mobile Phone | As well as the stylish design, the main camera performed admirably; This phone certainly better than the Nexus 6, it's lighter and slimmer than the outgoing model,

With a main camera is most certainly the best camera on any Nexus phone, and not forget the front camera in all of this. The 8Mp sensor is also capable of great photos: sharp and with lots of detail. It will also record 1080p video at 30fps. either. The screen has Gorilla Glass 4 to protect it from the twin scourges of keys in pockets. The result is a Nexus flagship far more worthy of the name. Simply; it is fantastic value.

One of the negatives, is that the 6P has no microSD expansion slot, so make sure you choose wisely from the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB flavours on offer when you buy.

Usually Nexus phones are the first to get the latest and greatest Android version, and the Nexus 6P is no exception, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. This delivers plenty of new features that we touch upon elsewhere on the site, including a mildly redesigned app drawer.

Mobile Phone | Picks from the critics:

Nexus 6P
primarily, Nexus phones stood out for being excellent value at a price that was low, but not the lowest. They weren't an alternative to flagship phones, but they had the advantage of running stock Android and getting the next version more quickly. The 6P, though, is not only a flagship, but is arguably: It's one of the best Android phone to buy at the moment. It won't suit everyone due to its size, nor those looking for a phone with dual-SIM slots or a removable battery. There's no support for wireless charging either. But the excellent screen, front-firing speakers, quick charging, great cameras, speedy performance and Android Marshmallow add up to make this a phone that's a pleasure to use. And yes, it's also cheaper than its rivals. sayd pcadvisor

Nexus 6P
There's a lot to like with the Nexus 6P, it's a stylish, speedy phone with a pair of superb cameras, great software, impressive battery life and a big, sharp, colourful display. Its closest rival is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, and although it isn’t as good looking as that handset, in every other respect, it matches it blow-for-blow. Plus it costs around £100 less.

The Nexus 6P delivers more bang per buck than any other smartphone currently on the market. If you’re looking for a handset with a big screen, at a price that won’t make a huge hole in your bank balance, this is what you want to buy. sayd alphr

Nexus 6P
Definitely; The Nexus 6P is a luxury phone without the premium price to match. Behind its aluminum finish are powerful phone specs that nearly keep up with Apple and Samsung's flagship phablets. That's because the Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor gives Qualcomm's troubled chip new life, plus 3GB of RAM is just enough to future-proof the phone.

As for USB-C… it may be ahead of its time. Consider yourself an early adopter when it comes to this and Android Nougat. The Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor is right on time, even if it landed on the back of the phone, and Google finally catches up to Apple's Touch ID. This method offers just as much speed and accuracy.

The super-sized phone (By Google and Huawei) is thinner, lighter, stronger and easier to hold, making it a true step up from the Nexus 6 in every way imaginable. No, it's not fast as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ – and the 12.3MP camera is comparable, not always better. But this is the best phablet for the price, hands down, and returns the Nexus brand to its more affordable and palmable roots. sayd techradar
